Rank a mortgage team's daily Salesforce follow-ups in Claude, pick each borrower's channel from the last reply, and draft every email, text and call brief for approval
Vantage Point built a two-phase Claude agent for Jasmine Mortgage Team, an Atlanta residential mortgage team whose CRM is Candid, a mortgage CRM built on Salesforce. Claude connects to the team's Salesforce through the Salesforce MCP connector inside a shared Claude project, and each user's own Salesforce permissions limit what Claude sees. In the triage phase, Claude pulls every open task due today or overdue, ranks each batch from High to Low, and lists red flags such as duplicate tasks, missing email data and unanswered texts. Claude merges the borrower's texts, emails and logged calls by date and recommends a channel: reply on the channel the borrower last used, recommend a phone call when several texts and emails went unanswered, and default to email when the borrower never replied. In the execution phase, Claude drafts the email (sent through Front only after approval), the text (written to Candid and sent through Twilio after approval, then re-checked for delivery), or a call brief of about 50 words. Every draft shows a warning when the record is marked do-not-email, do-not-text or do-not-call. When a team member finishes a task, Claude creates the next follow-up task, timed by loan status, from one business day for new leads to 16 months for borrowers who did not qualify. The team handles 20 to 50 follow-up tasks a day; the case study reports no time-saved figure.

- Jasmine Mortgage Team: a Claude agent that clears the daily follow-up list
David Cockrum (Vantage Point) · Agency case study · Oct 23, 2026 - First step
- Write down your follow-up timing rules by loan status (for example, next business day for a new lead, 16 months for a borrower who did not qualify) and your channel rules, so the agent has the same rules your best loan officer already uses.
Compliance note: Mortgage follow-up falls under TCPA consent rules for texts and calls and under your company's licensing and fair-lending policies, so keep do-not-contact flags on every draft, keep borrower financial details inside your CRM's permission controls, and have a licensed loan officer approve every message.

Pull every open follow-up task in my CRM that is due today or overdue. Sort the tasks into three batches: due today, overdue, and red flags (duplicate tasks, several open tasks on one borrower, missing email or phone data, unanswered texts). Rank the first two batches High to Low. For each task, merge the borrower's texts, emails and logged calls by date and recommend a channel: the channel the borrower last used; a phone call if several texts and emails went unanswered; email with a note if the borrower never replied. Show a warning on any borrower marked do-not-email, do-not-text or do-not-call. Then, for the batch I choose, draft each email or text, or write a 50-word call brief. Send nothing until I approve each draft.
